Spirit Airlines is enhancing its route network by introducing seasonal nonstop flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to multiple destinations across Florida. Beginning in March 2025, travelers will have expanded options for direct access to some of the most sought-after vacation spots in the Sunshine State.
Launch Schedule and Destinations
The airline has outlined a phased rollout of its new seasonal service. Flights to Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO) are set to commence on March 5, 2025, providing travelers with direct access to two of Florida’s most popular tourist destinations.
Service to Fort Myers (RSW) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) will follow shortly after, beginning on March 6, 2025. These routes cater to passengers looking for warm coastal retreats and vibrant city experiences.
Lastly, operations to Tampa (TPA) will launch on March 19, 2025, further expanding travel options for those heading to Florida’s Gulf Coast.
These new flights provide Minnesota travelers with affordable, direct access to Florida’s renowned beaches, golf courses, and attractions. By adding these routes, Spirit Airlines strengthens its presence in the Twin Cities while catering to the seasonal demand for warm-weather escapes.
