United Airlines is set to expand its flight offerings with new seasonal routes connecting Billings Logan International Airport to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, along with an increase in daily flights to Denver. These enhancements aim to improve regional connectivity and provide travelers with greater options.

New Direct Service to Chicago

Starting May 22, 2025, United will introduce a seasonal nonstop route between Billings and Chicago O’Hare. The service will run through October 25, 2025, adding nearly 24,000 additional seats throughout the season—12,000 in each direction. This expansion is expected to streamline access to one of the nation’s busiest airports, offering passengers improved connections to domestic and international destinations.

Increased Frequency to Denver

Alongside the new Chicago route, United is increasing its daily flights from Billings to Denver between May 22, 2025, and August 18, 2025. During this period, the airline will operate six daily flights, adding 18,500 more seats in and out of Denver. After August 18, service will adjust to five daily flights.

Boosting Regional Connectivity and Economic Growth

Jeff Roach, Director of Aviation and Transit for Billings Airport, highlighted the positive impact of United’s commitment to expanding services. “The addition of these direct flights will be instrumental in fostering tourism, business travel, and economic growth for Billings and the surrounding region,” Roach stated.

By increasing flight availability, United is not only enhancing accessibility for local travelers but also strengthening Billings’ position as a key hub for regional connectivity. These expanded routes reaffirm the airline’s long-term investment in the area, providing more travel flexibility and convenience for passengers.
